This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Quadlem, LLC (“Quadlem, LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information in connection with the public website and online tools made available at this domain and related subdomains (collectively, the “Site”), including BinCheck features such as BIN lookup utilities, educational content, and links to our separate hosted platform for API access and subscription services (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through the Site. The Platform (including account registration, billing, API credentials, and subscription management) is operated by us as a distinct service environment and may be subject to additional notices, contracts, and privacy terms presented at the point of collection or within the Platform. Where those terms conflict with this Policy regarding Platform-specific processing, the Platform terms control for that processing.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Site:

2.1 Information you provide. If you submit a contact form, subscribe to communications, or otherwise send us messages, we collect the content of those communications and associated contact details (such as name and email address).

2.2 Usage and technical data. We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, which may include IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and diagnostic data. We may also collect approximate location derived from IP address.

2.3 Tool inputs. If you use interactive tools on the Site (for example, entering digits to perform a BIN-related lookup), those inputs may be processed to return a result. Depending on configuration, inputs may be logged transiently for security, abuse prevention, quality assurance, or service improvement. Do not submit full payment card numbers, card verification values, PINs, or other sensitive authentication data unless a specific tool explicitly requires it and we instruct you otherwise.

2.4 Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and support security. See Section 5.

3. How we use information

We use information for purposes that may include: providing, maintaining, and improving the Site and tools; authenticating users where applicable; detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud, abuse, or security incidents; complying with law and enforcing our terms; communicating with you; analytics and product development; and aggregating or de-identifying information where permitted.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If applicable law requires a legal basis for processing (for example, in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom), we rely on one or more of the following, as appropriate: performance of a contract; legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (such as securing the Site and improving services); consent where required; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and analytics

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, parts of the Site may not function correctly. Where we use analytics providers, they may set cookies or collect device identifiers subject to their own policies.

6. Disclosure of information

We may disclose information to: service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations (for example, hosting, security, email delivery, analytics); professional advisors; law enforcement or other authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security; and a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

We do not sell personal information as “sale” is defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and we do not sell personal information of minors under 16 without affirmative authorization where such sales are regulated.

7. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information and legal, contractual, or operational needs.

9. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights regarding personal information, including rights to opt out of certain processing activities where applicable law provides such rights. To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your request and may decline requests as permitted by law.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete such information where required.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on the Site and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.

13. Contact
